Liztox is manufactured by Huons Biopharma — a dedicated botulinum subsidiary spun off from Huons Global in April 2021. Hutox is manufactured by the Huons Co., Ltd. parent company. Both share the Huons production lineage but operate as separate subsidiary entities.

BioPure is Huons Biopharma’s proprietary purification methodology — multi-step chromatography combined with fine filtration sequentially removing accessory proteins and endotoxins from the botulinum fermentation broth. The purification is the primary clinical differentiator for Liztox in the Korean market.

Liztox is not FDA-approved in the United States.

Both are leading Korean botulinums but with distinct purification approaches. Liztox uses BioPure extraction; Nabota uses HI-PURE™ technology + vacuum drying. Clinical performance is comparable but the purification approaches differ. Liztox onset is around day 3 with peak at day 14; Nabota onset is 2-4 days with peak at day 7.

Per clinical literature, Liztox duration is 3–5 months — comparable to other Korean botulinums. Onset begins around day 3 post-injection with peak effect at day 14. Liztox must be used within 12 hours of reconstitution (more conservative than the typical 24-hour window for other Korean botulinums).

Standard glabellar protocol per Liztox IFU: dilute 100U with 2.5 mL preservative-free 0.9% saline (4U/0.1 mL). Using a 30G needle, inject 0.1 mL each in 2 sites of corrugator muscle bilaterally + 1 site of procerus muscle = total 20U glabellar dose. Use reconstituted solution within 12 hours at 2–8 °C.
