The Neogenesis Mesh Thread is a woven PDO lattice — several fibres braided into a mesh tube — delivered on an L-type cannula. It is used for soft volumizing and fold support in the lower third of the face, especially nasolabial and marionette (lipolabial) folds, rather than as a sharp cog lift. Two catalogue models share 19G and USP 6-0: MS1938-C (38mm cannula / 50mm thread) and MS1950-C (50mm cannula / 60mm thread). Packed 10ea. Manufactured by NeoGenesis Co., Ltd., South Korea.
About the PDO Mesh Thread
NeoGenesis catalogues list this SKU as Mesh Cannula / Mesh-Structured (L-Type): a polydioxanone thread made of several fibres woven into a mesh configuration to restore volume and reduce folds. Meamo and AesthaCares describe the same pair of 19G L-cannula sizes (38mm/50mm and 50mm/60mm) as a soft-volumizing, skin-revitalizing thread for face and neck — an internal support framework, not a barbed traction thread.
The L-type cannula is blunt with a side port so the mesh tube can be placed with less tissue trauma than a sharp needle. Once seated, the open weave occupies more space than a mono or screw filament and supports collagen and elastin as the PDO is absorbed over about six months. (NeoGenesis also makes a PCL Mesh in the same sizes; this listing is the PDO version. Do not confuse PDO ~6-month persistence with PCL catalogues that claim up to 24 months.)
Material & structure
Absorbable surgical PDO.
Flexible polydioxanone polymer. In this series it remains at the insertion site for about 6 months; the PDO raw material is classified by the US FDA as a Class II medical-device material. Pouch marking on this SKU: sterile by gamma, non-toxic, single use.
Volumizing framework, not a cog lift.
Multiple PDO fibres are woven into a mesh / lattice tube. The weave creates an internal scaffold for soft volume and fold support. Catalogues contrast this with sharp lifting: mesh is selected where volume and firmness are the goal.
Cannula built for the mesh cog.
An L-type (L-cannula) blunt tip with a lateral opening carries the mesh. Two lengths: 38mm cannula with 50mm thread, or 50mm cannula with 60mm thread. The L-cannula format is specified to accommodate the mesh-structured filament.
Areas of application

Mapped zones: nasolabial fold, lower third / jowl, jaw line / oval. Catalogues also list marionette (lipolabial) folds and jaw-angle definition. Actual plan is determined by the practitioner.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Mesh Thread?
A Neo Thread Series PDO made of several fibres woven into a mesh tube, delivered on an L-type cannula, 10ea per pack. It restores soft volume and supports folds rather than providing a barbed mechanical lift.
What are the factory model codes?
MS1938-C — 19G, 38mm L-cannula, 50mm thread, USP 6-0 × 10. MS1950-C — 19G, 50mm L-cannula, 60mm thread, USP 6-0 × 10. These codes appear on Korea Filler Experts; AesthaCares and Meamo list the same two 19G pairs.
Mesh vs Screw vs Cog?
Screw is a spiral monofilament for local volume and tension (20ea). Cog / Combi uses barbs for traction. Mesh is a woven lattice for an internal volumizing scaffold in folds and the lower third. Choose Mesh when the problem is fold depth and soft volume, not vector lift.
Is this PDO or PCL?
This listing is PDO Mesh. NeoGenesis also sells PCL Mesh in the same 19G 38/50 and 50/60 sizes. PDO catalogues state about 6 months at the site; PCL sheets (e.g. Cosmo Korea Mesh Thread PCL) claim longer polymer stability — do not mix those duration claims into this PDO SKU.
Where is it applied?
Lower third of the face and nasolabial folds on the application map. Distributor lists also include marionette (lipolabial) folds, jowls, facial oval / jaw line and jaw-angle definition.
Is it FDA approved?
NEO Thread is CE-marked (pouch CE 2265 on this pack) and KFDA listed. The PDO raw material is FDA-classified as a Class II medical-device material — a material classification, not US product approval of this SKU.
Who should perform the procedure?
A trained, licensed practitioner. Thread procedures have contraindications. Follow the manufacturer IFU; do not use a damaged pouch.

Safety information
Sterile, single-use absorbable mesh suture on an L-type cannula for thread procedures. For trained, licensed practitioners only. Pouch warnings on this SKU: sterile by gamma, non-toxic, do not reuse, keep dry, keep away from sunlight. NEO Thread products are CE-marked and KFDA listed; the PDO raw material is FDA Class II as a material. Individual results vary with technique, anatomy and model (MS1938-C vs MS1950-C). Use aseptic technique; mark vectors; use local anesthetic per protocol. Bruising, swelling and discomfort may occur for 3–7 days. Patients should avoid sauna, swimming pools and excessive physical activity for about 2 weeks. Check model, LOT, MFG and EXP before use. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
