How is Ultra 3 different from Ultra 2 and Ultra 4?+
All three Ultra products use 24 mg/mL HA + 0.3% lidocaine and Hylacross technology — they differ by gel density and target depth. Ultra 2 is the lightest (mid-dermis), for fine lines and eye-area work. Ultra 3 is medium (mid-to-deep dermis), for moderate NLF, marionettes, and lip volume. Ultra 4 is the densest (deep dermis), for deep NLF, cheek augmentation, and chin volume. Volumizing capacity: Ultra 2 = 2/5, Ultra 3 = 3/5, Ultra 4 = 4/5.
Where is Juvederm manufactured?+
Juvederm is manufactured by Allergan Aesthetics (an AbbVie subsidiary) at their facility in Haute Savoie, France. This is the original Allergan production site for the global Juvederm range, including the Hylacross-based Ultra collection. CE 0459 Class III medical device certification.
How long does this product last?+

What’s the difference between Hylacross and Vycross technology?+

Vycross (used in Voluma/Volbella/Volift/Volux/Volite) is the newer technology combining low and high molecular weight HA chains for higher cross-linking efficiency, lower HA concentration, and longer duration. Vycross products generally last longer (12–18 months) than Hylacross products (up to 12 months).
