The Neogenesis PDO Cavern Thread is a single PDO fibre coiled into a spring with near-zero internal pitch, forming a hollow tunnel (“cavern”). After the cannula is withdrawn the coil stays as a volumetric scaffold — immediate space-filling plus collagen into the lumen as the polymer is absorbed. Despite the “body lifting cog” catalogue nickname, it is not a barbed cog: volume comes from the spring, not from hooks. Packed 10ea. L-type and SS-type blunt cannulas. About the PDO Cavern Thread
Cosmo Korea defines Cavern as a non-classical thread: one fibre coiled into a spring with zero internal pitch, forming a tunnel for face and neck lifting and volumization. Korea Filler Experts lists the L-type line as Cavern Cannula (Coil Spring). A Hong Kong dermatology series on Cavern® scaffold threads describes the same spring placed in the subcutaneous plane for brow furrows, tear trough, cheek hollow, nasolabial fold and marionette line — thinner coils for peri-orbital grooves, thicker coils for cheek and fold volume.
The hollow centre of the spring is the “cavern”: collagen is stimulated to fill that space while the coil itself gives immediate physical volume (a solid-filler effect, without HA gel). PDO remains about six months. This pack is 10ea (pouch [10 EA]); Cosmo’s L-type sheet sometimes prints “20 pcs in a pack” — packing unit on the pouch and this listing is 10.

What is a Cavern thread?

Is it a cog?
